Pokémon GO: These are the new Safari Zone dates

The Corona pandemic has also caused quite a stir in the world of Pokémon GO and, in addition to various changes to the game, also resulted in the failure of three Safari Zones in 2020. However, the developers at Niantic now want to make up for this event trinity.

Three Safari Zones from October to November 2021

The team has announced new dates for the three real-world events in an official blog post. The dates are as follows

  • Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Liverpool, England: Friday, October 15, 2021 through Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Sefton Park.
  • Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Philadelphia, USA: Friday, October 29, 2021 through Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Fairmount Park.
  • Pokémon GO Safari Zone in St. Louis, USA: Friday, November 12, 2021 through Sunday, November 14 at Tower Grove Park (start and end times have been moved up one hour each)

Those who participate in one of the Safari Zones will enjoy a number of benefits:

  • Special Pokémon will appear in the wild and can be attracted with smoke.
  • You can complete exclusive special and field research tasks.
  • There are special 2k eggs.
  • Smoke lasts for eight hours during events.
  • Lure modules last for four hours during events.
  • If you purchased a ticket to the Philadelphia Safari Zone, you can look forward to a surprise at Snapshots.

Also, be sure to check out these tips on how the events work:

  • If you have purchased a ticket for one or more Safari Zones, you can participate in that event from anywhere in the world. Event duration is based on your local time.
  • If you would like to participate in the Safari Zones on-site, you will need to register. Participants will receive an email with further instructions.
  • The Events tab in Pokémon GO will show you the dates and times for Safari Zones.
  • Early Access ticket sales have ended.
  • Those who bought a Town Explorer pass will get a refund on October 02, 2021, because the developers have removed the pass.

We wish you lots of fun and success with the Safari events in Pokémon GO
